New title dealings
New title dealings can be created as e-dealings well before issue of new titles. This can occur as soon as the new title numbers have been allocated.
The system will display an error message when the new title numbers are entered stating that they are not live titles. Simply click OK and proceed with creating the dealing and preparing the instruments as normal.
Any pre-validation prior to issue of the new titles will fail, so it is important to ensure that the correct title number for the relevant Lot and the exact spelling of the proprietor is used. Once the new titles issue the pre-validation report should pass, provided everything has been entered correctly.
By adopting this approach the last minute panic of only dealing with things in the tight five working day time-frame should be avoided.
